This test is used for the visualization of the blood circulation in the eye. It helps in the diagnosis and treatment planning in conditions like diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration, retinal vascular occlusions. During the procedure, a yellow fluorescent dye is injected in the vein of the arm and a special digital camera with a special filter is used to photograph the retinal vessles to identify abnormal leaky blood vessels. The test is performed on OPD basis. |

| -Frequency doubled YAG (Green) Laser -This laser is used for the treatment of patients with diabetic retinopathy,vascular pathologies and retinal holes or tears -Trans pupillary thermotherapy( TTT): It is a treatment modality useful in patients with age related macular degeneration -Photodynamic Therapy(PDT)It is a treatment modality useful in patients with age related macular degeneration. -Anti VEGF injection treatment: Three types of Anti VEGF injections are presently available.They are 1.Leucentis, 2. Macugen and 3. Avastin. This new modality of injection treatment has added a new dimension in treatment of age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy. |
