Dr. Richard B. Packard

Richard B. Packard has been director of Arnott Eye Associates, since 1999. He trained at the Middlesex Hospital, the Hospital for Sick Children Great Ormond Street, the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases and Moorfields Eye Hospital. In 1979 as Senior Registrar at Charing Cross Hospital working under Eric Arnott he first started to perform minimally invasive phacoemulsification surgery for the removal of cataract.
He is on the Education Committee of ESCRS and runs the Cataract Surgery Didactic Teaching Course. He is on the peer review panel for the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Eye, the British Journal of Ophthalmology and the Asia Pacific Journal of Ophthalmology and regularly contributes to ophthalmic journals.
He is currently Chairman of the Association of Ophthalmologists of the UK and deputy chairman of the Federation of Independent Practitioner Organisations.

Dr Mordaunt has been Assisting surgeons to evolve the standard of care, developing CAPSULASER for cataract surgery.
His Skills and Expertise are in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Imaging, Laboratory Medicine, Medical Laboratory Technology, Laboratory Diagnostics and Imaging
He has patents for -

Dr. Fam Han Bor
Dr. Fam Han Bor is a graduate from the National University of Singapore with a Masters in Medicine (Ophthalmology) and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He completed his subspecialty training in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
Dr. Fam holds a number of senior appointments at The Eye Institute at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. In addition to his appointment as the Senior Consultant and Pioneer Head of Service for Cataract, Implant, and Anterior Segment, he is also credited as the founding head of the sub-specialty of anterior segment surgery.
With a deep commitment and enduring interest, Dr. Fam has pursued his passion to further the fields of visual optics, wavefront science, IOL calculations, corneal topography, contact lens and eye modelling, biofilms, and phacoemulsification technology.
He is a co-author of the book A Clinician’s Guide to Slit-Scanning Corneal Topography and a contributor to the book Corneal topography – From Theory to Practice. He is also the patent holder for an enhanced occlusion removal system during phacoemulsification.
